Which cookie do you reach for first? Is it the most symmetrical one, or the disfigured one with the most chocolate chips? Embracing the imperfect in the kitchen is the backbone of writer Charmian Christie’s first cookbook, The Messy Baker (HarperCollins Publishers Ltd, 2014).
