Caramel apples may be taboo for trick-or-treaters these days but don’t let that stop you from whipping some up for your own Halloween gathering. Food on a stick is pretty much a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, and as author Rosie Daykin of Vancouver’s Butter Baked Goods points out, more than half of your work is already done for you because you don’t make the apple.
